Broadcast and Production
JFA
has years of experience developing broadcast and production
facilities.
The
multi-billion dollar megahit "Titanic" required a highly specialized
studio with a 350,000 square foot outdoor "tank" that could hold one
half of a full sized replica of the doomed ocean liner. JFA
managed the creation of a Fox Studios Baja, full-service production
facility in Rosarita, Mexico. The tank was situated such that
when filming the Titanic exteriors, the ocean provided a natural
backdrop, making the ocean liner appear to be floating in the middle
of the ocean. The studio continues in operation today and has
filmed a number of aquatic themed movies since, including "Master
and Commander: The Far Side of the World", "Deep Blue Sea" and
"Pearl Harbor".

The
FCC's requirement that all over-the-air television broadcasters
convert to fully digital, high definition broadcasts created a
stellar opportunity for JFA. Leading one of the most
pro-active conversion programs in the country, JFA oversaw the
development of three completely new, fully digital television
stations for the Fox Television Station Group. New stations
were constructed in Los Angeles (KTTV), Denver (KDVR) and Houston (KRIV).
